Kavalan Ex-Bourbon Oak is a Taiwanese whisky matured in ex-bourbon oak. It is made from the same liquid that goes into the bourbon-cask Solist releases, here reduced to 46% with local spring water.
The spirit was distilled in pot stills from 100% malted barley at a single distillery, then aged in barrels. It comes in a 750ml bottle.
