Kavalan – Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky (75cl)

Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask is a Taiwanese single malt matured in three kinds of sherry cask: Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez and Moscatel. The dried fruit of the Oloroso casks gives the whisky its main character. Rich caramel and the sweetness of maltose sit alongside the distillery's tropical fruit notes. The nose is of plump berry fruits, cherry, blueberry, red apple and watermelon syrup, with hints of ginger, cinnamon and cedarwood. On the palate there are fig, raisin, cola, damson jam and a touch of blackcurrant, with the Pedro Ximenez character coming through towards the end.
