A Taiwanese single malt from Kavalan, matured in sherry oak. The whisky is reduced with Kavalan spring water to a bottling strength of 46% ABV.
It is deep mahogany in colour. The nose is layered, with dried fruit, nuttiness and spice, plus touches of marzipan and vanilla.
On the palate it is smooth and well balanced, with a natural sweetness, dried fruit and spice. The finish is long and elegant. Kavalan suggests pairing it with a well-cooked steak, or with chocolate and nuts.
