Kavalan – Solist Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask Strength Single Malt Whisky (70cl)

Kavalan Solist Pedro Ximénez is a single cask single malt from Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan. It is matured entirely in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and bottled at natural cask strength without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle. Taiwan's warm subtropical climate speeds maturation, so a deep sherry influence develops over a shorter period. The nose is raisins, figs, dates, molasses and dark chocolate. The palate combines rich sherry sweetness, dried fruits, espresso, spice and toasted oak. The finish is long, with lingering dark fruit, cocoa and warming spice.
