Kavalan Distillery Select No. 2 is a Taiwanese single malt from Kavalan Distillery in Yilan County, first launched in 2020. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The release is meant to show the distillery's blending skill rather than the effect of different cask finishes. It is made from a combination of virgin oak and refill casks.
It is described as deeply aromatic, with a floral and herbal complexity and rich layers of woody and spicy notes.
