Kavalan – Distillery Select No. 2 Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Kavalan Distillery Select No. 2 is a Taiwanese single malt whisky bottled at 40%, in a 70cl bottle. Kavalan means flatland people, a name taken from the indigenous tribes who first lived in the area. The distillery sits on land known for cold spring water, salty ocean air and subtropical heat, and that heat speeds up maturation. Building of the King Car distillery began in 2005 and was completed in December of that year. Master Blender Ian Chang worked with whisky consultant Dr Jim Swan on its vision.
