Kavalan – Ex-Bourbon Oak Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Kavalan Ex-Bourbon Oak is a single malt whisky from Taiwan, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is diluted to strength with local spring water. Kavalan Distillery stands in Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, and takes its name from the indigenous Kavalan people who first lived on the Kabalan Plain. The nose offers menthol, coconut and vanilla. These carry onto the palate, joined by toasted cereal and a tangy character. The finish is relatively smooth, with mild wood spices.
