Kavalan PX Sherry Cask Strength is a single malt from Taiwan, matured in PX sherry casks and bottled at 57.8% abv in a 75cl bottle.
The colour is honey gold. Maturation in the sub-tropical heat of Taiwan sits alongside the classic PX sherry influence.
The aromas are fruity, nutty and chocolatey. The palate is fruity and warm, with rosemary, a hint of lemongrass, sweet citrus and toffee, and a juicy raisin and honey syrup note that lingers. It finishes on sweet oak.
