Kavalan – Solist Ex-Bourbon Cask Strength

Kavalan Solist Ex-Bourbon Cask Strength is a cask-strength, non-chill-filtered single malt from Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan, matured in ex-bourbon casks. It is a luminous pale amber in colour and full-flavoured, with a substantial mouthfeel. The nose is fresh and tropical, with vanilla, coconut and spice, and sometimes poached pear or cardamom. The palate is soft and round, with natural sweetness, mango, pineapple, caramel and oak spice. The finish is fairly long and smooth, with vanilla, caramel, light wood and cinnamon.
