Keeper's Heart Irish & American Blended Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Keeper's Heart Irish & American Blended Whiskey is a blend of Irish pot still, Irish grain and American rye whiskeys, each aged four years. It is bottled at 43% in a 700ml bottle. The Irish grain whiskey, made from 95% corn, comes from Great Northern Distillery, and the American rye, 95% rye, was produced at MGP in Indiana. The Irish grain component adds an oily mouthfeel that binds the rye spice to the fruity pot still character. The nose is floral, with cinnamon, nutmeg and orchard fruit. The palate shows candied ginger, vanilla, sweet biscuit, lemon zest and stewed stone fruit, with herbal rye spice and dark chocolate. The finish is long, ending on charred oak and peppery rye.
