Kentucky Owl The Wiseman Rye (70cl, 50.4%)

Kentucky Owl The Wiseman is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey, bottled at 50.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made in small batches from a mash bill of 95% rye and matured in hand-selected casks. Kentucky Owl was founded in 1879 by the pharmacist Charles Mortimer Dedman. His descendant Dixon Dedman revived the name by selecting and blending casks by hand. The nose is full of spice. On the palate the spice moves towards fresh rye bread and buttery cinnamon toast, and the finish is long, with a hint of English walnut.
