Kentucky Vintage (70cl, 45%)

Kentucky Vintage is a sour mash bourbon from Kentucky Bourbon Distillery, bottled at 45% ABV. The maker describes it as handcrafted in very small quantities, chosen from a select few barrels as a small batch bourbon and aged for longer than an ordinary bourbon. It has won a double gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The nose has vanilla, maple, dried fruit and campfire smoke. The palate is rather sweet, with smoky and woody notes and cloves, and the finish is of medium length with light bitterness.
