Ki One Batch 1 Virgin American Oak Korean Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Ki One Batch 1 is a Korean single malt whisky matured in virgin American oak and bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The name Ki Wan means beginning and hope in Korean, and the whisky marks the start of Korean single malt's journey abroad. It is described as Korea's first single malt whisky. The distillery sits in the Namyangju Mountains, north-east of Seoul. In summer the heat drives the spirit deep into the wood, while the extreme winter cold pushes it back out into the cask, drawing out an array of aromas.
