Kilchoman – 100% Islay 15th Edition 2025 54 Ex-Bourbon Casks (70cl, 50%)

Kilchoman 100% Islay 15th Edition is a single malt distilled from the distillery's own 2014 and 2015 barley harvests and matured for at least nine years in 54 different ex-bourbon casks. It is bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle. The 100% Islay series is made as a single farm malt, with every step from barley to bottle carried out at Kilchoman on Islay. The bourbon maturation brings caramel and vanilla alongside the distillery's citrus sweetness and Islay peat smoke. On the nose are vanilla, tropical fruits, fresh hay, toasted oak and salted butter. The palate offers milk chocolate, salted caramel, candied citrus and ripe pear, and the finish is lingering maritime peat smoke with fresh fruit and honeyed sweetness.
