Kilchoman 100% Islay 2024 is the 14th edition of this series, a single malt bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The barley was harvested on Islay in 2013 and 2014.
The whisky was matured for nine years in ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings campfire smoke, preserved lemons, orange peel and tropical fruit. The palate is creamy, with caramelised sugar, lemon, ripe pineapple, fresh ginger and smoke. The finish is oily, with a rich texture of sherry notes and peat smoke.
