This is a Kilchoman single malt from Islay, matured for 17.75 years and bottled at 51% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from the early days of the distillery.
Fruit leads its character, with peat woven in rather than dominant. The nose has ripe apples, pears and fresh citrus, with honey and vanilla. On the palate come tropical fruit, mango and papaya, alongside fine, elegant smoke. The finish is long, with sweet fruit and gentle smoke.
