This is an 18 year old Kilchoman single malt from Islay, part of the Family Collection, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV.
Kilchoman opened in 2005 under Anthony Wills and was the first new distillery on Islay in 124 years. It stands in the north-west of the island on Rockside Farm, a former farming estate. Its whisky is the only one entitled to call itself 100% Islay, as every ingredient and every step is produced on site.
