This is an 11 year old single malt from Kilchoman on Islay, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
Kilchoman was founded by Anthony Wills in 2005 and was the first new distillery on the island for 124 years. It stands on Rockside Farm, a former agricultural estate in the north-west of Islay.
Its whisky is the only one entitled to be called 100% Islay, because every ingredient is produced and every step carried out on site. Kilchoman is also the one Islay distillery that does not lie directly by the sea.
