This is the 14th Edition of Kilchoman 100% Islay, a single malt from Islay in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. Kilchoman was opened in 2005 by Anthony Wills, the first new distillery on the island in 124 years. It stands on Rockside Farm in the north-west of Islay, on land that was once farmed. The 100% Islay name is explained by the way the whisky is made: every ingredient and every stage of production comes from or takes place on site. It is also the only Islay distillery that does not sit directly on the sea.
