A single cask Islay malt from Kilchoman, distilled in 2008 and matured for over 15 years in a refill Oloroso sherry hogshead. It is cask 633, bottled at 52.4% in a 70cl bottle.
This is the first global release of the oldest Oloroso full maturations Kilchoman still has. The cask is one of a pair of sister casks, filled on the same day, with cask 639 as its partner. Both were bottled to mark a 50th anniversary. The spirit is peated to 50 ppm, and each bottle in the series is numbered by hand.
