A single cask Islay malt from Kilchoman, distilled in 2010 and matured for over 13 years in a first-fill bourbon barrel. It is cask 479, bottled at 53.8% in a 70cl bottle.
The cask is one of a pair of sister casks, filled on the same day, with cask 478 as its partner. Both were bottled to mark a 50th anniversary. The spirit is peated to 50 ppm and shows Kilchoman's floral character. The bottle is one of a numbered single cask series, each carrying a short distiller's tasting note.
