Kilchoman 2010 Vintage is a nine-year-old Islay single malt, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2019 at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky matured mainly in bourbon barrels, with a smaller number of sherry casks added. The peat level is given as about 50 ppm.
The nose is soft peat smoke with vanilla, citrus oil, barley and light spice, plus a touch of sherry richness. The palate is creamy and round, with caramel, sweet smoke, toffee, roasted nuts and a hint of raisin. The finish is long and warm, with smoke, vanilla, citrus and oak.
