Kilchoman 2012 Single Cask is a ten-year-old Islay malt, distilled on 3 May 2012 and bottled on 31 August 2022 at a cask strength of 54.3%. It matured entirely in one bourbon barrel and filled 263 bottles, each 70cl. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose combines peat smoke, citrus, vanilla, honey, maritime notes and light spice. On the palate, bourbon influence comes through with sweet smoke, vanilla, toffee, roasted barley, warm spices and a soft salty undertone. The finish is long and warm, with smoke, citrus, oak and a sweet note.
