This is a single cask Kilchoman from the 100% Islay range, matured in a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask and bottled at 58.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The whisky was distilled on 26 May 2015 and bottled on 1 September 2020 after five years in the cask. The cask gave 276 bottles. Every stage of the 100% Islay range, from barley to distilling, is carried out on Kilchoman's own farm.
The nose is rich with PX sweetness, raisins, figs, soft smoke and caramel. The palate is full-bodied, with sherry, dark chocolate, honey, dates and peat smoke. The finish is long, warm and syrupy, with smoke, dried fruit, cocoa and oak.
