Kilchoman – 7 Year Old 2018 UK Exclusive Single Cask STR/New French Oak #238

This is a single cask Kilchoman, distilled from barley grown on Islay and matured for seven years in a new French oak cask, number 238. The cask was treated with the STR method, meaning the wood was shaved, toasted and re-charred, and the whisky rested beside Machir Bay before it was drawn in April 2025. It comes from the 2018 vintage at natural cask strength, non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. Just 280 bottles were released, all of them for the UK market. Expect coastal smoke alongside vanilla cream, toasted spice and sweet red berries from the French oak.
