A single cask Islay malt from Kilchoman, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2021 as part of the Uniquely Islay Series. It spent six years in two bourbon barrels, then a seven month finish in a 400 litre Armagnac cask. It is bottled at cask strength, 57.5% ABV, in a 70cl bottle, with 521 bottles filled.
Kilchoman is an independent, family-owned distillery on Islay, founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills.
The Armagnac finish is described as having hints of flinty freshness, juicy fruits and soft peat smoke.
