This is a Kilchoman Autumn Release, a single malt from the farm distillery on Islay. It was distilled in autumn 2006 and bottled in 2009. Kilchoman makes its whisky on a single site, from barley to bottle. It is currently the only distillery making single malt from barley that is both grown and malted on Islay, and it also distils, matures and bottles on the island. This release is one of the very first from the distillery.
