Kilchoman Batch Strength 2024 is an Islay single malt made from a selection of bourbon barrels and sherry casks. It is bottled at 57% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration and in its natural colour, as a limited batch release.
The peat level is approximately 50 ppm.
On the nose there is powerful peat smoke with citrus, vanilla, warm spices, roasted nuts and a hint of sherry. The palate is intense and mouth-filling, with smoke, honey, toffee, citrus, dark chocolate, oak and subtle red fruit. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with sweet oak, spice and peat.
