Kilchoman Batch Strength is a single malt from the Farm Distillery on Islay, bottled at 57% in a 70cl bottle. It was added to the core range in 2024, alongside Machir Bay and Sanaig.
The whisky is matured in a mix of ex-Oloroso sherry casks, ex-bourbon barrels and recharred wine casks. Islay peat and citrus notes sit alongside red fruit, spice and salted caramel.
The nose brings red fruits, fresh cherries, heather and intense peat smoke. On the palate come toffee, rich spices and vanilla, with peat smoke that lingers. The finish is silky, with butter and honey.
