Kilchoman Batch Strength is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 57%. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour.
The batch is vatted from selected casks, bringing bourbon and sherry oak influence together. Citrus, malty sweetness and coastal peat smoke make up its character.
The nose offers lemon zest, grilled pineapple, sea spray, vanilla fudge and bonfire embers. The palate is oily, with peat smoke, charred oak, sea salt, toffee apple and candied lemon peel. The finish is long and smoky, with citrus oil, black pepper and a last echo of vanilla.
