This is the first Batch Strength bottling in Kilchoman's core range, an Islay single malt bottled at 57% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured in re-charred ex-red wine casks, Oloroso casks and bourbon casks.
The nose is maritime, with peat smoke, vanilla and citrus, finishing on red fruit and cherry. The palate has an oily texture with dark chocolate, ginger, peat, sea salt, stone fruit and oriental spices. The finish is medium in length, with honey and smoke.
