Kilchoman – Casado Islay Malt (70cl, 46%)

Kilchoman Casado is a limited edition single malt from the Kilchoman distillery on Islay, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle and presented in a gift box. The name comes from the Portuguese word for marriage. The spirit was first matured in 38 first-fill ex-bourbon casks, then married in a large 6000 litre wooden vessel that had previously held Portuguese red wine. Kilchoman is a small farm distillery. Along with Bruichladdich, it is one of only two on the island whose whisky is made entirely on Islay, from growing the barley to bottling.
