Kilchoman Family Collection 1st Edition 14 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle, matured for 14 years. It is part of the first Family Collection, which celebrates the Wills family and their vision for the farm distillery.
It is bottled at 50.9%, non-chill-filtered and with natural colour, as a limited edition.
The nose shows dried apricots, baked peaches and orange marmalade over honeycomb and vanilla custard, with peat smoke and a little sea salt. The palate is full-bodied, with sweet malt, tropical fruit, caramelised citrus, toffee, roasted nuts and dark chocolate. The finish is very long, with honeyed malt, citrus oils, soft peat and oak spice.
