This is a 20-year-old single cask Islay malt from Kilchoman, bottled at 49.9% ABV in a 70cl bottle after maturation in a bourbon cask. It is the oldest release the distillery has made, and it appears in the first Family Casks series.
The series is drawn from the oldest stocks at the farm distillery, and each expression was chosen personally by one of the five members of the founding Wills family. This one is made from heavily peated barley at 50 ppm, supplied by the Port Ellen Maltings on Islay.
