Kilchoman – Loch Gorm 10 Year Old 2025 (70cl, 46%)

Kilchoman Loch Gorm 10 Year Old is a 2025 limited edition Islay single malt, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the first Loch Gorm to carry an age statement, and the oldest the distillery has released. The whisky matured entirely in Oloroso sherry butts: 23 casks chosen by founder Anthony Wills, of which 20 were first fill and three second fill. They came from the bodega José y Miguel Martín. The malt is peated to 50 ppm. The nose offers caramelised custard tart, roasted coffee and candied ginger. On the palate come honey-roasted figs, cloves and sticky toffee pudding, with a smokiness reminiscent of barbecued bananas. The finish is long, savoury, smoky and earthy.
