Kilchoman – Loch Gorm 10 Year Old 2026 Sherry Butt (70cl, 46%)

This is a 10 year old Islay single malt from Kilchoman, matured entirely in Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at 46%. Loch Gorm takes its name from the dark, peaty loch that the distillery overlooks. The nose combines dried red fruits with savoury barbecue notes and toasted walnuts, all wrapped in strong, rich peat smoke. On the palate there is candied orange, exotic fruit, salted caramel, dried plums, cinnamon and nutmeg, with the peat smoke well integrated. The finish is long and spicy, with dark chocolate, liquorice and a balanced smokiness.
