Kilchoman Loch Gorm is a 10 year old Islay single malt, this 2026 edition matured in Oloroso sherry casks. It is made up of 24 sherry butts, 21 of them first fill and 3 refill, put together with the bodega José y Miguel Martin in Jerez.
The peat level is 50ppm, and the whisky is bottled at 46% without chill-filtering or added colour. Its dark copper tone comes from the sherry wood.
On the nose there are dried red fruits, toasted walnuts, barbecue smoke and maritime peat. The palate brings candied orange, tropical fruit, salted caramel, cinnamon, nutmeg, dark chocolate and liquorice. The finish is long, with spice, liquorice and well-integrated smoke.
