Kilchoman – Loch Gorm (2021) (70cl, 46%)

Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2021 is the Islay distillery's annual sherry-matured release, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a single malt matured entirely in Oloroso sherry butts, with a peat level of around 50 ppm. This edition is a limited release, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose brings plums, blackberries, raisins and soft smoke. On the palate there is chocolate, roasted nuts, caramel, peat smoke and a hint of cloves. The finish is long and warming, with cocoa, oak, pepper and lingering smoke.
