Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2023 is the annual sherry-matured release from the Islay Farm Distillery, bottled at 46% as a limited edition. It was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry butts and has a peat level of around 50 ppm. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose offers deep sherry, dark berries, raisins, soft smoke and toffee. On the palate come rich chocolate, roasted nuts, caramel, smoke, dried fruit and gentle spice. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with cocoa, cinnamon and a little tobacco.
