Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2024 is the latest annual release from the Islay farm distillery. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The whisky was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry butts, and the peat level is given as around 50 ppm.
The nose has sweet smoke, stewed fruit, dark chocolate, figs and light spices. On the palate, peat smoke meets roasted nuts, caramel, dried fruit and a little citrus zest. The finish is long, warm and smoky, with cocoa, cinnamon and soft oak.
