Kilchoman Machir Bay Cask Strength is an Islay single malt bottled at 58.6% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colour, in a 70cl bottle. This limited edition was released with a Christmas label.
The nose combines sweet peat smoke, soft citrus, vanilla and sea salt. On the palate it is powerful and full, with smoky honey, creamy vanilla, fresh lemon zest and spicy oak. The higher strength brings out the Islay character without harshness.
