Kilchoman – Machir Bay (46%)

Kilchoman Machir Bay is a peated Islay single malt bottled at 46% ABV. It is the flagship of Kilchoman, one of the smallest and newest distilleries on the island. Kilchoman was founded in 2005 and is known for its hands-on, independent approach. It grows part of its barley on site and controls the whole production process. Machir Bay is named after a dramatic beach on Islay and is the house's classic expression, regarded as a good introduction to the peated Islay style.
