This is a nine year old single cask Kilchoman from Islay, distilled in 2016 and bottled in 2026 at a cask strength of 54.1%, in a 70cl bottle. Only 211 bottles were filled.
The whisky matured first in ex-bourbon casks, then spent more than 30 months finishing in a Marsala cask.
It is described as having intense peat smoke, vanilla and salted caramel alongside stone fruit, dates and plums, with light roasted nuts, spice, citrus and a coastal freshness. The Marsala finish adds a rich sweetness and dried fruit character.
