Kilchoman – Maury Cask Matured Edition 2026 (70cl, 50%)

Kilchoman Maury Cask Matured is a 2026 limited edition Islay single malt, bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered. Rather than a finish, the whisky spent its whole maturation in French Maury wine casks, 19 of them combined for this release. Maury wines are sweet and opulent, and the casks are rarely used for single malt. This is the distillery's first full-term maturation of this kind. The nose has figs, raisins and dates with salted caramel, orange peel and soft peat smoke. The palate shows pipe smoke and dark chocolate with treacle and warming spices. The finish brings dried fruits, cacao, earthy peat smoke and gentle dry spice.
