Kilchoman PX Sherry Cask Matured is a 2023 Islay single malt, bottled at 47.3% ABV in a limited edition of 23,000 bottles. It was matured for at least five years in first-fill and refill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads from Bodega José y Miguel Martin in Jerez, and it is peated to 50ppm. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose offers sultanas and raisins with peat smoke, liquorice and a touch of citrus. The palate brings brown sugar, orange peel, dark chocolate and waves of sherry sweetness. The finish has chocolate-covered raisins, oak smoke, spice and lingering PX sweetness.
