Kilchoman Rockside 11 Years Old is an Islay single malt from the Kilchoman farm distillery, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
It pairs Kilchoman's peat smoke with oak influence and a maritime character.
The nose has bonfire smoke, citrus, vanilla and ripe apple, with honey, sea salt and malt. The palate is full, with peat smoke, creamy vanilla, caramel, ripe stone fruit and citrus, plus black pepper and a light saltiness. The finish is long and warming, with smoke, sweet malt, vanilla and a salty edge.
