Kilchoman – Sanaig Cask Strength (70cl, 57.8%)

Sanaig Cask Strength is an Islay single malt from Kilchoman, bottled at 57.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a new limited edition, a cask strength version of the Sanaig 'Dark Batch', in a new design. Smoke is prominent, alongside sweet fruit and cinnamon notes. The nose has toffee sweetness, dark fruits, red berries and smoked oak. On the palate come spiced dark chocolate, raisins, liquorice and warm peat smoke, and the finish is lingering, sweet and spicy, with smoke throughout.
