This is Kilchoman Sanaig, a private vatting made as a Germany exclusive. Kilchoman is an Islay distillery, and the whisky is a single malt Scotch. The nose combines heather, pear and dried fruit with mixed spices and plenty of peat smoke. The palate brings ripe red fruit, plum, cherry and berries, a little citrus, caramel, dark chocolate and some oak. The finish is long, with peat smoke and spice.
