Kilchoman Sauternes Cask Matured is a limited edition single malt, matured fully in ex-Sauternes wine casks. It was selected by Kilchoman founder Anthony Wills.
The natural peat smoke and citrus character of the distillery meets dark fruits, rich spices and salted caramel sweetness, alongside buttery sweetness, barbecued pineapple and candied ginger.
On the nose it is creamy and buttery, with ripe fruits and subtle peat smoke. The palate brings butterscotch, floral notes and tropical fruits, and the finish is sweet and balanced, with lingering smoke.
