This is a single cask Islay malt from Kilchoman, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2024 at 56.7% ABV after more than nine years in a first fill bourbon barrel. It is a single farm malt, made from barley grown and malted at the distillery, with a peating level of 20 ppm.
Cask 653 is one of the Sister Casks, a group of casks filled on the same day. It is paired with cask 650 from the same 2014 distillation, so the two can be compared as they matured separately.
The bottle comes in 70cl.
